We've updated the terms and conditions for all personal credit accounts, to ensure that we’re compliant with new rules and regulations, and that our T&Cs remain clear and fair.
If you have a credit account with us and you've placed an order in the last 2 years, you'll shortly be receiving a communication which explains the changes and when they'll be implemented.
What's changing?
If you’re in persistent debt*, these changes mean we can adjust the way your minimum payment is calculated in the future. If we do need to make any adjustments to your account, we’ll inform you in writing beforehand.
* Your account is classed as being in persistent debt if you've paid more in interest and charges over 18 months than you've paid towards reducing the capital (the amount borrowed).
When will these changes come into effect?
The new terms and conditions will come into effect on 24 March 2021.
What do I need to do?
Nothing at all! We'll be in touch again if we do need to make any changes to your minimum payment; this communication is just to make you aware that your terms and conditions have been amended.
Does this change affect the way that I place an order?
No, you can still place orders as usual.
Will the way I currently make payments change?
No - but we do recommend setting up a direct debit with us, if you haven't already. This method ensures you'll never miss a payment.
Will the way I return items change?
No, you'll be able to use the same methods as now.
What should I do if I don’t agree with the new terms and conditions?
You can chat with us or send us an email by clicking the button at the bottom of the screen. You can also call us on 0345 071 9018.
If you do not wish to continue with your account, you'll need to pay off your balance in full by 23 March 2021, before the new terms and conditions are implemented.
